6/2 Minor League Report! HAVENS, MARTE!

AAA International League: Buffalo 3/6/2, Syracuse 6/5/1

Daniel Murphy left the game in the 7th inning after a dirty take out slide on a DP by Syracuse's Leonard Davis. Davis deserves to get a fastball in the earhole tomorrow from Bobby Parnell or John Lujan, lets hope he does. Josh Thole also left the game in the first after being clocked in the head by a backswing. He'll sit out tomorrow against some no name pitcher (Steven Strasburg or something...I've never heard of him).

Brad Holt and Eddie Kunz pitched back to baCK today...yeah, not pretty. They combined to give up 7 runs on 6 hits and 8 walks in 4.1 innings, with 4 of those runs coming off Kunz in his 0.1 innings, he took the loss. Pretty safe to say Kunz is officially a bust, right?

The Mets offense did their job with 6 hits and 4 walks, against just 6 strikeouts, but were just 1 for 6 with RISP, and left 7 on base. Reese Havens had a HUGE game with 3 hits (incl 2 homers) and a walk.
