The Mets get a pass tonight, as it was 19 year old Yohan Almonte's Kingsport debut tonight, and he fired 4 innings of 3 hit shutout ball before the roof caved in on him in the 5th, he allowed 5 hits and a walk in that inning, leading to 6 runs, all against him, for the loss.
The Mets hammered out 14 hits, but were just 3 for 16 (.188) with RISP, leaving 10 on base. Darrell Ceciliani (2), Alonzo Harris (2), RJ Harris (2), Richard Lucas (2) and Juan Torres (4) all had multi hit games, Torres had a perfect game going 4 for 4.
