1. Phil Humber ( Solid season after Tommy John surgery, but may start in Triple-A.)
2. Deolis Guerra ( His ability to hold his own in high Class A portends big things now.)
3. Kevin Mulvey ( Solid year puts him in the mix for look in 2008, or perhaps as trade bait.)
4. Brett Harper ( Good power, but age-level ratio doesn't give him much of a chance.)
5. Fernando Martinez ( Young Dominican signee looks like a bust, but still scouts favorite.)

I wish we could use emoticons here, he'd get a whole bunch of :lol: and :eyeroll: out of me. Not only is ranking Brett Harper our 4th best prospect stupid, but saying Fernando looks like a bust at the ripe old age of 18 in AA just might be one of the stupidest things anyone's ever said about baseball. Officially, our system has "graudated" Gomez and Pelfrey. I'd rank our top 10 this way:
1. Phil Humber
2. Fernando Martinez
3. Deolis Guerra
4. Kevin Mulvey
5. Jon Niese
6. Bobby Parnell
7. Mike Carp
8. Nick Evans
9. Eddie Kunz
10. Francisco Pena/Brant Rustich
