  3. Hey Tejesh and Dave great site guys. Anyway looks like Bannister isn't exactly the real thing. Has anyone considered the idea of moving Fernando Mrtinez to First Base? Just wondering.

  4. ok. it's official. anderson hernandez sucks. april 2006, we had a chance to start keppinger and we blew it. thank god for jose valentin, because we'd STILL have egg on our faces. it's ridiculous.

  5. I really like AHern, but he needs to maintain at least a .240 average in the majors to justify his playing everyday.

As for Nando and first base? There's this kid in St. Lucie, Mike Carp, and both David and I think he is going to be the next big thing in New York. He's got the potential to be the David Wright of first base for us.

Besides, if Milledge, Gomez and Nando all pan out, then one can be used as trade bait for whatever we need in 2010 or whatever ;)

  6. Oh, and about Banny. He's been overtaken by Maine and Perez. But he is still a MLB option, to keep in Norfolk. I think he can put up a 4.2, 4.3 era and win 14-16 games with this team, but Maine and Perez can do that, and probably more. Humber and Pelfrey are infinetly better, and we'll (in all likelihood) have Barry Zito, so Banny's the odd guy out. I wouldn't want him in long relief, to be honest.
