| TOP DRAFT PICKS REPORT TO BROOKLYN |
| June 17, 2007 - The 2007 roster has been announced, and some of the Mets' top picks are among the names playing in Brooklyn. Third round pick, RHP Stephen Clyne, from Clemson University (SC); fifth round pick, INF Zach Lutz, from Alvernia College (PA); seventh round pick, INF Lucas Duda, from the University of Southern California; and eighth round pick, RHP Dan McDonald, from Seton Hall University (NJ) are among the 2007 top ten draft picks who will be playing in Brooklyn this summer. In addition, some familiar faces will be seen at KeySpan park, with six returnees from the 2006 squad -- LHP Josh Appell, LHP Grady Hinchman, RHP Nick Waechter, INF Jake Eigsti, OF Will Vogl, and C Jason Jacobs. And a fan favorite from the 2002 and 2003 team, OF Ender Chavez, has also returned. As you know, the players on the Brooklyn team will change with frequency throughout the season.
