Jenrry Mejia was plagued by control issues today, walking 3 in an inning plus, but the Rafters offense got him off the hook, with Ike Davis contributing 2 RBI, and Ruben Tejada contributing 2 hits and an RBI. Mike Moustakas (Royals), Austin Romine (Yankees), and Tyler Henley (Cardinals) had the other RBI for the Rafters. Tejada, Romine, and Henley had multi hit games. Reese Havens DHed and went 0 for 3. He, Jeff Bianchi (Royals), and Daryl Jones (Cardinals) took 0-fers. Lucas Duda left the game in the 2nd inning without registering an AB, no reason was given in the recap.
