nice day from fernando, what people dont get about fernando is his skill level. i mean he's been challenged everywhere has had many injuries and he still has good contact/power rates. of course a full season is going to help his pitch recognition and patience growth. in just a little over a quarter season last year he hit 8 hr and 16 doubles, thats about 20 hrs 40 doubles as a 20 year old in aaa after coming off two straight injury plagued years, incredible...if he was never injured i can only imagine what he could have become. still a terrific prospect, without injuries he shoots up the prospect charts easy
ReplyDeletealso fpena has been showing some nice power which he usually does, but his average, as always, is terrible lol....it's weird b/c he makes good contact, except for this winter. maybe its just pitch recognition and the more pitches he sees the better, hopefully thats the case. also, the team uses him as a defensive replacement coupled with the fact that sum1 this summer said his tools are now turning into defensive skills, this is a goog sign.
