Jose De La Torre picked up the win with 2 innings of ineffective relief work, and Roy Merritt notched his 14th save with a 4 outer.
The Mets offense had 8 hits and 2 walks, while going 2 for 14 (.143) with RISP and leaving 7 on base. Ruben Tejada had a homer, his 5th of the season, along with a multi hit game. Armando Rodriguez had a solid outing, allowing a run on a hit and 4 walks in 5 innings for his 2nd win in 3 starts. Mike Lynn picked up the save with 2 shutout innings of relief.
