Mark Cohoon pitched very well tonight, but not good enough, as Brooklyn lost game one of their playoff series, 3-1. Cohoon went 7 innings, allowing 3 runs (2 earned) on 5 hits with 8 Ks, but took his 3rd loss of the season.
The Conies offense had just 5 hits and a walk in the game, and were 0 for 2 with RISP, while leaving 6 on base. They face elimination tomorrow, when they go on the road. Jordany Valdespin (2) had the lone multi hit game, while a slew of Cyclones took 0-fers.
