AA Eastern League: Binghamton 4/10/0, New Britain 5/10/1

Reese Havens continues to oblierate AA pitching, with 2 more hits and his 6th HR in just 55 ABs since being promoted to Binghamton. He and Eric Campbell had multi hit games, while Marshall Hubbard (0 for 4, .269) and Luis Hernandez (0 for 4, .275) took 0-fers. Chris Schwinden started and had a third start awful outing, giving up 5 runs for the third straight time, this time in 4.2 innings, for his 3rd loss. The Mets offense had 10 hits and drew one walk against 4 strikeouts, while going 1 for 9 (.111) with RISP, and leaving 7 on base.

A+ Florida State League: St. Lucie 3/14/1, Dunedin 2/4/1 in 13 innings

The Mets hammered out 14 hits and drew a pair of walks, but were a woreful 1 for 12 (.083) with RISP, and left a small army (12) on base. Jordany Valdespin, Joey August, Brahiam Maldonado, Richard Lucas and Jean Luc Blaquiere all had multi hit games, while Josh Satin (0 for 6, K, .316) took the only 0-fer.

Eric Beaulac had his best outing of the season, but he got a ND after Emary Frederick blew the save by allowing a run in the 7th. Jose Bierd pitched 2 scoreless for the win, and Rhiner Cruz had a perfect 13th for his first save.

The Gnats had 10 hits and drew 2 walks, but were an awful 1 for 12 (.083) with RISP and left 13 on base, and struck out 9 times. Pedro Zapata, Juan Lagares and Jefry Marte had multi hit games, while Cesar Puello, Alex Gregory (0 for 2, BB, .241) and Alonzo Harris took 0-fers. Collin McHugh had a great outing today, but he took the loss.
