Tobi Stoner tied his longest AAA outing with 7 innings, but fared considerably worse, giving up 6 runs on 8 hits and 4 walks, instead of a 1 hit shutout over 7 (his last outing).

Today, he pitched 6 innings, allowed 2 runs on 3 hits, striking out 9, but still picked up his second loss of the season.

Justin Garber (2 for 4, .429), had the only multi hit game for the Cyclones, he, Andy Green (1 for 3, BB, .263) and Robbie Shields (1 for 2, K, .125 - first pro hit) had the only hits today.

Kingsport 9, Princeton 12
Yeah, another night of, to be quite frank, simply apocolyptically abysmally massive fail pitching from Kingsport. Through 23 games, the Mets have given up 178 runs, for an average of 7.74 runs against. Tonight it was Jhonathan Torres in his Kingsport debut, he gave up 10 runs, but inexplicably, only 1 earned run, as a 2 out error in the 2nd opened the floodgates for 8 runs.
The Mets offense certainly did well enough to win, as they do most nights, they had 10 hits and 3 walks while going 3 for 11 (.273) with RISP, leaving 7 on base. Darrell Ceciliani (2), Tyler Vaughn (2), and Pedro Zapata (2) had multi hit games, while Alonzo Harris (0 for 5, 2 Ks, .271), and John Freeman (0 for 5, 2 Ks, .164) took 0-fers.
