Binghamton 3, Erie 16

It's like Reverse 08! Remember the BMets would see Erie and score 13 runs a game? LOL. Well, tonight it was Erie's turn to blast BMet pitching, with Eric Brown first in line to get oblierated, to the tune of 6 hits, 3 walks, 3 homers and 9 runs in 2 innings to take his 12th loss of the season. Every pitcher the BMets used gave up runs, 3 of 4 gave up multiple runs. BMet pitching gave up 7 HR tonight

The Mets offense had 7 hits and 3 walks, while going 1 for 3 with RISP, leaving 4 on base. DJ Wabick had the only multi hit game (2), while Emmanuel Garcia (0 for 4, 3 Ks, .263), Salvador Paniagua (0 for 3, 2 Ks, .213) and Jonathan Malo (0 for 3, .253) all took 0-fers.

A recurring theme on the Gnats this year, a pitcher being victimized by his defense. Tonight it was Kyle Allen who had 2 error made behind him (to be fair, one was his, but only his 2nd, he and Eric Campbell (4) made them tonight), leading to 2 UER off him, along with 2 ER in 6.2 innings, enough for the loss, his 6th.

The Gnats offense managed just a run on 8 hits and 3 walks, while going just 1 for 11 (.091) with RISP, leaving 9 on base. Raul Reyes (0 for 4, .251), Wilmer Flores, Eric Campbell (0 for 3, BB, K, .263), Jordan Abruzzo (0 for 4, 2 Ks, .217), and Joey August (0 for 2, BB, .098) took 0-fers, while Sean Ratliff and Kai Gronauer had 3 hit games.
