Jose De La Torre picked up the win with 2 scoreless, Connor Robertson notched his 6th save.
The Mets hammered out a total of 13 hits, and drew a walk, while going 2 for 6 with RISP and leaving 6 on base. Every Met regular had a hit in the game, with Emmanuel Garcia (2), Josh Thole (2), Ike Davis (2), and Jose Coronado (2) having multi hit games.

Manuel Alvarez got jacked up for 2 runs in an inning of work, plus allowed Josh Stinson's IHR to score, blowing his 4th save and taking his 3rd loss, after a so-so outing from Scott Moviel. Moviel gave up 4 runs and 4 walks in 5.1 innings, but just 2 UER (thanks to his own error, and a Reese Havens error).
The Mets had 11 hits and drew 4 walks, while going 6 for 20 with RISP, leaving 10 on base. Stefan Welch (0 for 3, BB, K, .333; 3 for his last 25, after an 18 for 38 start in A+), Carlos Guzman (0 for 5, K, .252) and Francisco Pena (0 for 3, run, BB, .227) took 0-fers, while Reese Havens (2), Zach Lutz (3), Hector Pellot (2), and Brahiam Maldonado (2) all had multi hit games. The Gnats scored early, and then held off a furious Power rally, with Phillips Orta picking up his first win of the season, in back of an ineffective Eric Beaulac. Well, another game, another ridiculously high scoring affair. Kingsport gives up 9 tonight, RA of 7.24, scores 7, RSA of 6.79. Might explain why they're 10-19 on the season, RA of 7.24...
