Eric Niesen didn't pitch all that poorly, but went just 5 innings, giving up 2 runs on 4 hits and 2 walks, for his 6th EL loss. The Mets offense had just 5 hits and a run, but they did draw 5 walks, but were just 1 for 4 with RISP, leaving 8 on base. Jose Coronado (2) had the only multi hit game, Caleb Stewart (0 for 2, K, .192), Lucas Duda (0 for 2, BB, .274), Salvador Paniagua (0 for 3, K, .207), and Mark Kiger (0 for 2, BB, K, .237) all took 0-fers, they were the 4567 hitters, going a combined 0 for 9 with 2 walks.

Michael Antonini got a spot start tonight, and turned in a good (but very short) performance, going 4 innings, giving up an UER on 4 hits with 4 Ks. Eric Brown picked up the win with 2.2 scoreless innings, Connor Robertson grabbed his 7th save.

The Mets had 8 hits and drew 3 walks, while going just 1 for 9 (.111) with RISP, leaving 6 on base. Ruben Tejada (2) had the only multi hit game, while Jose Coronado (0 for 3, BB, K, .263) took the only 0-fer. Ike Davis (8; 15), and Lucas Duda (9) homered.

The Mets had 11 hits and 2 walks, while going 3 for 9 with RISP, leaving 7 on base. Stefan Welch (2), Carlos Guzman (2) and Seth Williams (2) had multi hit games, while Greg Veloz, dropped down into the 7 hole, took the only 0-fer (0 for 4, K, .233)
