Michael Antonini's had longer relief outings. Seriously. He gave up 7 runs on 5 hits and 3 walks in 1.2 innings to take his 3rd loss of the season. The Mets were never in this game, after Antonini gave up 3 in the first and 4 in the 2nd.
The offense managed 7 hits and 5 runs, but were held to just 3 unearned runs, despite their .333 average with RISP (2 for 6), they left 8 on base and hit into 3 DPs.

Scott Moviel's return to St. Lucie (he made 1 start there at the end of 2008) wasn't what he wanted, he gave up 4 hits and 3 runs in 5 innings to take the loss. Josh Stinson's return also didn't go well, he gave up 4 hits and 2 runs (1 earned) in 2 innings.
The Mets offense had 8 hits and drew 6 walks, but went just 2 for 9 with RISP and left 11 on base. Wes Wrenn and Darin (Derbert, Derwood) Gorski split the game today, each going 4 innings and giving up a run, Wrenn on 2 hits with 6 Ks, Derwood on 3 hits with 3 Ks. Lance Hoge worked a hitless 9th to pick up the win after the Cyclones rallied for 1 in the bottom of the 9th.
The Cyclones had 7 hits and drew 2 walks, and were 2 for 6 with RISP, leaving 6 on base. John Servidio (0 for 4, 2 Ks, .212), Sam Honeck (0 for 3, K, .271), Luis Rivera (0 for 3, BB, K, .410), and Juan Centeno (0 for 3, .294) all took 0-fers, Ralph Henriquez had the only multi hit game for the Cyclones, who are now 12-2.

Angel Cuan's horrible 2009 season continued in Kingsport tonight, as he gave up 3 runs on 6 hits and 3 walks in 4.2 innings, but he didn't suffer the loss, that went to Julio Bello, who gave up a run on a hit and 2 walks in 2+ innings. Cuan has a 6.39 era thru 3 starts, 2 in Brooklyn and one with Kingsport.
The Mets offense was held to just 5 hits and 2 walks on the night, and they went just 2 for 4 with RISP, leaving 4 on base. Alonzo Harris (2 for 4, run, HR (1), 2 RBI (7), 2 Ks, .300), Jeff Flagg (1 for 4, run, HR, RBI, 2 Ks, .342), Pedro Zapata (1 for 3, run, K, .286) and Ryan Mollica (1 for 3, .226) had the hits for the Mets, everyone else took 0-fers.
