Elmer Dessens blew the game in the bottom of the 9th, giving up a run, but after the Bisons picked up a run in the 11th, he got the vulture win. Mike O Connor picked up the save with a scoreless bottom of the 11th. Pat Misch started and worked 6 shutout innings for the ND.
Ruben Tejada and Ike Davis took 0-fers, no Bison had a multi hit game. Chris Carter hit a solo shot in the 11th to provide the winning margin. The Bisons were 0 for 7 with RISP and left 11 men on base.

The Mets trailed 9-2 after 4 innings, but stormed back with back to back 4 run innings in the 5th and 6th to take a 10-9 lead, which they carried to the 9th, when Jose De La Torre and Roy Merritt each gave up a run to blow the lead and the game. Scott Shaw was absolutely SHELLED in his AA debut, giving up 8 hits and 8 runs (7 earned) in 2.1 innings. Edgar Ramirez allowed a run in his 2.2 innings, then Derrick Ellison bounced back from his dreadful first outing with 1.2 hitless. De La Torre pitched 1.1 scoreless innings before allowing a run in the 9th.
The Mets offense came to play today, with multi hit games from Kirk Nieuwenhuis (2), Nick Evans (3), Marshall Hubbard (2), Lucas Duda (2), Carlos Guzman (2), and Zach Lutz (2). Shawn Riggans was hitless in his only AB, and Hector Pellot took the only legit 0-fer (0 for 4, 2 Ks, .125). The Mets were 5 for 15 with RISP and left 8 on base.

The Mets committed 4 errors, leading to 2 unearned runs, but they overcame them with 8 hits and 10 runs of their own, en route to a 10-7 victory in their home opener. Scott Moviel got tagged for 6 runs (5 earned) on 5 hits and 4 walks in just 4 innings. Jose Bierd picked up the win with 1.2 perfect innings of relief, Manuel Alvarez got his first save.
The Mets, as I said, picked up 8 hits and drew 2 walks, while also being hit by 3 pitches, leading to 10 runs on 5 for 9 with RISP, they left 3 on base. The errors went to Jordany Valdespin (2), Emmanuel Garcia (1), Brahiam Maldonado (2), and Eric Campbell (1). Valdespin hit his first high A homer, a 3 run shot, while Josh Satin had the only multi hit game for the Mets. Stefan Welch (0 for 2, run, .125) and Richard Lucas (0 for 3, run, 3 Ks, .300) took the only 0-fers of the game.

Mark Cohoon picked up his first A ball victory tonight with 5.2 innings of 4 hit shutout ball, and the Gnats bullpen worked 3.1 perfect innings in relief behind him, with Brandon Moore picking up the save with 3 perfect.
Juan Lagares (3) had the only multi hit game for the Gnats, who were 3 for 7 (.429) with RISP, and left 5 on base. The top 2 in the order (Zapata, Fernandez) were a combined 0 for 8, Alonzo Harris (0 for 3, .300) took the other 0-fer for the Gnats.
