Tobi Stoner got the opening day start for the Bisons tonight and pitched effectively, giving up just 2 hits in 3.1 innings, he got a ND. Mike O Connor gave up a run in 2 innings to pick
up the loss for Buffalo, and then Bobby Parnell came in and pitched 2.1 innings of hitless relief, though he did walk a pair. Raul Valdes got the final out of the game.
The Bisons offense was held to just 6 hits (3 by Ike), and were shutout with RISP (0 for 8), they left 4 on base.

The first win of the season belongs to the Sand Gnats, a convincing 9-3 thrashing of the Power. Wilmer Flores, Jeff Flagg, Juan Lagares and Alonzo Harris had multi hit games for the Gnats
in back of Armando Rodriguez, who went 4 innings allowing just 3 hits and an unearned run with 5 Ks. Lance Hoge picked up with win, despite allowing 2 runs in 2 innings.
