4/10 Minor League Report! Guzman!

Buffalo 0, Pawtucket 9

Dillon Gee was absolutely on cruise control through 4, having allowed just 2 hits, striking out 5, but the roof caved in on him during the 5th inning, he allowed 4 hits, 2 walks and 3 runs in the inning, not even finishing it. Jon Switzer came in and was highly ineffective, allowing 5 runs in the 6th inning, only 1 was earned, due to a Jose Coronado error. Elmer Dessens and Carlos Muniz finished off the game.

Offensively, the Bisons ran into Michael Bowden and Co, who limited them to just 2 hits, singles by Rene Rivera and Cory Sullivan. Everyone else took 0-fers.

The BMets got off quick with 2 in the first, then added runs in the 3rd and 7th, en route to a 4-3 victory. Emmanuel Garcia had the only multi hit game for the Mets, going 2 for 4 and scoring twice. Ruben Tejada, Matt Bouchard, Carl Loadenthal and Josh Petersen all took 0-fers. Jose Sanchez worked 6 innings of 3 run ball for the win, Roy Merritt pitched a scoreless 9th for his 2nd save.

Jenrry Mejia made his high A debut today, a day after Brad Holt, thankfully, Mejia's went better. He allowed just 3 runs (1 earned due to a pair of Reese Havens errors), striking out 6 in 4 innings. Emary Frederick pitched 3 innings of 1 hit relief for the win, Manuel Alvarez got the final out of the game for his first save.

Offensively, Greg Veloz, Zach Lutz and Carlos Guzman had multi hit games, with the latter two homering, while Francisco Pena and Hector Pellot took 0-fers.
