4/21 Minor League Report! Veloz, Havens!

I'm back, back again, Tej is back, tell a friend...

Buffalo 7, Scranton 3

The Bisons used a 4 run 8th to erase a 3-2 deficit and hand the Yankees their first loss of the season. Nick Evans nightmare season, however, continued, as he went 0 for 4 with another pair of Ks, he's now struck out 15 times in 45 ABs, and is rocking a .111 average and a sub .640 OPS. Ouch. Buffalo had just 5 hits on the game, but drew 6 walks, and were 3 for 8 with RISP. Andy Green (0 for 2, run, RBI, 2 BBs, K, .000), Nick Evans, Argenis Reyes (0 for 2, 2 runs, 2 BBs, K, .233) and Jose Coronado (0 for 3, run, K, .089) took 0-fers.

Dillon Gee started for the Bisons, and he was decent, giving up 3 runs on 5 hits over 5.1 innings. He did strike out 7, and both of his IHR were allowed to score by Ken Takahashi, on a hit, a WP and 2 walks. Elmer Dessens worked 2.1 innings for the win, and Carlos Muniz pitched a scoreless 9th.
