Kirk Nieuwenhuis, Lucas Duda, Carlos Guzman and Jose Coronado all had multi hit games, while Nick Evans, Mike Nickeas (0 for 4, K, .298), and Hector Pellot (0 for 3, run, K, .179) took 0-fers. The Mets were 4 for 10 with RISP, left 6 on base, and struck out 12 times.
Brad Holt had his best outing of the season, going 4 innings, allowing just 4 hits and an UER, with 5 strikeouts. Clint Everts, though he was flat out disgusting tonight (4 runs on 4 hits and 3 walks in 1.1 innings) picked up the win. Jose De La Torre notched his second save.

Armando Rodriguez left the game after coming out to warm up for the 5th inning with an injury, but before that, he was well on his way to his best outing of the season, he'd allowed 1 hit and 1 UER in 4 innings. Chris Hilliard relieved him and picked up the win with 4 hitless innings of long relief. Erik Turgeon picked up his first save with a scoreless 9th.
The Gnats themselves had just 7 hits and drew 2 walks, while going 2 for 9 (.222) with RISP, leaving 7 on base and striking out just 5 times.
