Eric Beaulac and co continued the walk-a-thon this morning, issuing 9 walks, with Beaulac issuing 7 of them. Since this is extremely out of character, I have to question if they're being squeezed by umps, and also perhaps being intimidated by the higher quality hitters. Either way, this is insanely uncharacteristic of most of the Savannah turned St. Lucie pitchers. Beaulac was taken off the hook by the Mets offense, but Jimmy Johnson deservedly took the loss after getting torched for 5 runs on 6 hits in 1.1 innings.
The Mets had 12 hits and drew 6 walks, but left 13 on base while going 3 for 15 with RISP and striking out 10 times. Reese Havens, Rylan Sandoval, and Luis Nieves took 0-fers, while Eric Campbell, Sean Ratliff, Stefan Welch and Juan Centeno had multi hit games.

Along with Marte, Pedro Zapata, Cesar Puello and Alex Gregory had multi hit games, while Sam Honeck (0 for 2, 3 runs, 3 BBs, .059) and Alonzo Harris took 0-fers.
