Brad Holt had a disasterous outing today, giving up 6 runs on 7 hits in 4 innings for his 3rd loss, but Josh Stinson, after allowing all 3 of Holt's IHR to score, fired 4 shutout innings in long relief, but the Mets had just 2 hits against the Thunder bullpen.

The Mets had 8 hits and drew 5 walks, but were just 2 for 8 with RISP, and left 10 on base, while striking out 10 times. Reese Havens (in his AA debut) had the only multi hit game, while Kirk Nieuwenhuis, Marshall Hubbard (0 for 2, 2 BBs, K, .282), and Jon Malo (0 for 3, RBI, BB, K, .227) took 0-fers.

Ryota Igarashi started his rehab today, and got torched for 4 hits and 2 runs in 0.2 innings. After Rhiner Cruz got the final out of the first, Eric Beaulac took the hill and was absolutely MASTERFUL, with easily hit best outing of the season, and one of the best of his career. He went 7.2 innings, allowing just 4 hits and 2 runs (1 earned) for his 2nd win. Emary Frederick got the final out of the game for his first save.

The Mets had 9 hits and a walk, while going 4 for 11 (.364), leaving 5 on base and striking out just twice. Emmanuel Garcia (0 for 4, .241), Stefan Welch, Richard Lucas and Juan Centeno took 0-fers, while Raul Reyes and Sean Ratliff had multi double games, Josh Satin had a multi hit game.

Jefry Marte had the lone multi hit game, while Rafael Fernandez, Cesar Puello and Dock Doyle (0 for 3, .163) took 0-fers.
