Eddie Kunz didn't pitch all that badly today, but got a ND after giving up 2 runs (1 earned) on 5 hits and 2 walks in 5 innings. Clint Everts got touched up for 3 runs on 2 hits and a walk in 1.1 innings to take the loss. The Mets offense had just 6 hits, but drew 5 walks, while going 2 for 8 with RISP, leaving 8 on base, and striking out 12 times. Brahiam Maldonado had the lone multi hit game for the Mets, while Nick Evans, Marshall Hubbard (0 for 3, BB, 2 Ks, .304), Carlos Guzman, and Jose Coronado (0 for 3, BB, K, .237) took 0-fers.

Scott Moviel pitched a meh ballgame today, giving up 10 hits and 2 walks, but only 3 runs, he took a ND after Elvin Ramirez gave up 2 runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. Manuel Alvarez picked up the win with 2 scoreless innings.

The Mets offense exploded for 15 hits and 3 walks, while going 6 for 10 with RISP, they did leave 11 on base, and struck out 12 times. Five players had multi hit games, while Emmanuel Garcia (0 for 5, 3 Ks, .260) took the only 0-fer.

wilmer Flores had another big game with 3 more hits, including his 13th double, as the Gnats easily beat the Braves, 6-2. Overall, the Gnats had 10 hits and 3 walks, while going 5 for 14 (.357) with RISP, leaving 7 on base, and striking out 7 times. Alex Gregory had the only other multi hit game, while Nick Santomauro and Cesar Puello took the only two 0-fers. Brandon Moore was excellent over 7 innings for his 2nd win.
