Jon Niese had a very good rehab outing today, despite giving up 8 hits (2 bunts and 3 bloops), he surrendered just 2 runs. Ruben Tejada had a good game out of the leadoff spot with 2 hits, and Josh Thole snapped a mini slump (2 for 13) with 2 hits and a walk. Jesus Feliciano DNP.

Eric Niesen had a very very rough outing today, his second back off the DL, giving up 5 runs (2 earned) on 3 hits and 6 walks in 3.2 innings. However, it was Scott Shaw, who piggybacked Niesen today, who took the loss, despite his best outing of the season, giving up a run on 5 hits in 4 innings.
The Mets offense had 8 hits and drew 6 walks, while striking out just 3 times, and going 3 for 9 with RISP, and leaving 7 on base. Luis Hernandez had the only multi hit game, while Reese Havens, Omir Santos (0 for 4, .000), and Jose Coronado (0 for 3, K, .235) took 0-fers.

Armando Rodriguez had a very uneven outing today, giving up 3 hits and 4 walks, but only 2 runs (on a homer). Erik Turgeon picked up the win with 2.1 scoreless innings, Michael Powers nabbed his 6th save with a perfect 9th.
The Gnats offense had 15 hits, but were just 2 for 12 with RISP, left 10 on, but only struck out 4 times. Pedro Zapata, Juan Lagares, Jefry Marte, Nick Santomauro and Kai Gronauer had multi hit games, while Alonzo Harris took the only 0-fer.
