New Orleans 9, Fresno 7
Much as the other 2 games tonight, the Zs roared out to an early lead, then held on as the bullpen faltered. Ruddy Lugo started, and was either injured, or on a pitch count, as he threw 62 pitches over 4 innings. Joselo Diaz and Tim McNab allowed 4 runs over 2 innings in relief, then Jose Santiago, Willie Collazo, and Carlos Muniz pitched 3 one hit shutout innings to slam the door shut.
Brady Clark was on base three times, leading the attack for the Zs, who are back over .500, at 17-16. Fernando Tatis drove in 4, while Argenis Reyes took an 0-fer (0 for 3, run, BB, K, .238)
