A few thoughts:
Moviel has really turned it around. Since adjusting to the FSL, he is showing us all exactly why the Mets selected him so highly last year. He is definitely one to watch out for going forward.

Fernando went 1 for 2 in today's Futures game. He also impressed many in batting practice by spraying line drives to all fields and hitting many out of the park, even one off the third deck in RF.

Carp has been in a crazy bad slump lately, and is now coming dangerously close to .300 for the first time all season.

Brad Holt was very impressive today, striking out 10. I wasn't too crazy about Holt when we drafted him, but I was glad to hear he threw heat. He already hits 95-97 with regularity, and he is said to be projectable so his fastball could actually gain a couple ticks as he fills out. If he cant get some consistency on his secondary pitches, he could be a nice #3 starter for us in a couple years.
