A few thoughts:
Havens and Lutz can absolutely rake. They will move up the ranks quickly. Havens looks like a serious ball player, he could definitely be our 2b of the future.

Fernando stole his 5th base of the season. This is one area where I don't think F-Mart has lived up to expectations. He was touted as a 25-35+ sb guy, I guess injuries have sort of limited him and I'd rather have him not running so he doesn't risk another injury, but I would like to see him blossom into a David Wright-esque type base stealer. Smart runner, not overly speedy but can snag 20-25 bases a year.

It rains a lot in Florida.

Jenrry(however you spell it, I'll call him Henry) Meija flashed some nice stuff today in the Brooklyn game. He is young, only 19 years old, and was hitting 93-95 on the gun with his 4 seam fastball and 89-92 with his 2 seamer/cutter. He had an inconsistent curve that showed flashes of being a potentially solid to plus offering, and a changeup that was just a show me pitch that he needs to control better. He might be one to watch out for going forward.

Francisco Pena is quietly having a solid year with the stick, despite his low batting average. He is only hitting .254/.300/.387/.696, but he now has 18 doubles, 2 triples, and 5 hr in 279 ab; 25 xbh is not too shabby. He isn't putting up huge numbers but he has shown good improvement over his first season of pro ball and we can't forget that he is still only 18 years old. I'll take those numbers from an 18 year old catcher any day of the week, and I think he has definitely done enough this season to justify a move up to the FSL next season. I think Pena is going to turn the corner soon(one of the next two years, probably when he is closer to 20) and really show why he was touted as one of the best International Free Agent catchers in recent years.

The lower levels of our system(Savannah and below) are stacked with young, high-upside position players to keep an eye on. Obviously Wilmer and Pena, but as well as guys like Veloz, Lagares, Jefry Marte, Welch, Puello, Van Gurp, Vernooij, Bellorin, Tejada, etc etc.

I also think our recent draft could produce at least couple of good major league players. It should be fun to watch Havens, Davis, and Holt work their way up to the bigs. I also think we could have a couple more sleeper hitters on that Brooklyn squad who could impress as well.
