I have absolutely no words to describe what we just witnessed in Los Angeles.

Fernando Nieve's first AAA start with the Mets was a success, he gave up just 2 runs on 3 hits, though he did walk 6, he picked up the win courtesy a 6 run outburst in the top of the 7th inning.
The Bisons had 9 hits and drew 5 walks themselves, going 3 for 12 with RISP and leaving 7 on base. Fernando Martinez and Javier Valentin had multi hit games, while Argenis Reyes (0 for 3, run, 2 BBs, 2 Ks, .261), and Jon Malo (0 for 4, .182) took 0-fers.

Elvin Ramirez pitched 6 terrific innings, but Chris Schwinden gave up 2 runs in his 2 innings, as the Legends beat the Gnats 2-1 in an early morning affair. Ramirez allowed just 1 hit in 6 innings, but it went for naught. The Gnats were held to 5 hits, the Legends, just 3. Rafael Fernandez (1 for 4, RBI, .268), Josh Satin (2 for 3, BB, K, .346), Raul Reyes (1 for 4, 2 Ks, .304), and Jean Luc Blaquiere (1 for 2, run, BB, .203) had the hits, everyone else took 0-fers.
