Angel Calero had one bad inning tonight, and that was enough to doom him. He gave up 3 runs in the 3rd, on a HBP, 2 hits and 2 walks.
The Mets offense got single UERs in the 1st and 6th innings, on 4 hits, 2 errors and 3 walks. The Mets were just 1 for 8 with RISP and left 5 men on base. Reese Havens 0-fer tonight takes him down to .227 on the season, he is 6 for his last 42, and is hitting .176/.307/.324 on the month. The good news is he's drawn 12 walks in just 19 games this month, and has struck out just 12 times (so he's making contact, albeit weak contact).
