It was a bad outing for Familia. He couldn't get no calls. He threw around atleast 30 pitches in the first. Had three walks in the first ( 5 total). He was already at his 70 or 80 pitch count by the 3rd. He threw ALOT! He had a good fastball anywhere between 90-92 MPH and a sick curve around 75-80MPH. He rarely threw the curve. Don't throw if he's scared to throw it or he it may have been because he was hardly ahead in the count.
Marte should of had 1 error. The first one he was in front of but it went right under his glove. On the second he was making the transition for the double play when he stepped on 3rd. He grabbed it and he dropped it. The Ump said he never had it and called the guy at third safe. But his offense didn't help. He still struggling. He went 0-4 with 2K's.
But the Positives -
The Bullpen shut the opponents down. AGAIN! Giving up 0 runs in 5 innings.
Fernandez played some incredible D Making a diving catch to rob somebody of atleast a double. Then some guy hit a double into the corner and he threw a canon shot NO HOP! right to the catcher nailing one of the runners trying to score.
Sean Ratlliff went 4-4 with 3 doubles. He's 10-13 in his last 3 games.
