Jordany Valdespin comes back, Jordany Valdespin has 2 hits. And a double, and a run scored, and an RBI. This kid is unreal. It may just be a hot streak and he fades into obscurity, but this is fun while it lasts. Sean Ratliff and Juan Lagares also had multi hit games for the Gnats, who pounded out 10 hits and drew 4 walks, but were a woeful 4 for 17 with RISP, leaving 8 runners on. Eric Campbell (0 for 3, run, BB, K, .265) and Wilmer Flores took 0-fers.
Jeff Kaplan had another good outing, giving up just 2 runs (1 earned) on 6 hits over 5 innings for his 3rd win.
