Tobi Stoner fired a 7 inning complete game 3 hit shutout, and Salvador Paniagua accounted for all 4 BMet runs (solo HR, bases clearing double), as the Mets won the opener of a day/night doubleheader, 4-0. The Mets went just 2 for 8 with RISP and left 6 on base, but Paniagua's heroics made up for that. Jose Coronado (0 for 3, BB, .253) and Josh Petersen (0 for 3, K, .279) took 0-fers, while Paniagua and DJ Wabick had multi hit games.
After the game, Stoner was promoted to AAA Buffalo.
