6/19 Minor League Report! Thole, Allen, CENTENO!

Buffalo 10, Charlotte 3

Tobi Stoner's first AAA outing was a good one, he gave up 3 runs on 9 hits in 6 innings for the win, as Buffalo gave him plenty of run support, building up leads of 5-0 and 9-1.

Eric Niesen got oblierated in his second AA start, giving up 8 hits, 3 walks, a homer and 7 runs (6 earned, Josh Petersen error) in just 4 innings to take his second loss. Julio De La Cruz got bombed good himself, giving up 5 runs on 8 hits and 2 innings.

The Mets offense had 11 hits and 5 walks, but were just a pathetic 1 for 11 with RISP and left 13 men on base. Salvador Paniagua (0 for 2, 2 BBs, 2 Ks, .204) and Carl Loadenthal (0 for 3, BB, K, .243) took 0-fers, while Emmanuel Garcia, Josh Thole, Lucas Duda and Ruben Tejada had multi hit games.

Kyle Allen had a great outing last night, giving up just 2 runs on 3 hits and a walk in 6 innings for his 5th SAL win, lowering his ERA under 4. Hard throwing Phillips Orta made his season debut and gave up a run in his inning of work.

The Gnats hammered out 13 hits and 10 runs, along with 3 homers. They were 5 for 10 with RISP and left 3 men on base. Sean Ratliff, Kai Gronauer and Raul Reyes had the homers, while Rafael Fernandez, Wilmer Flores, Ratliff and Gronauer had multi hit games. Stefan Welch (0 for 4, .188) took the only 0-fer.
