Additon, who gave up 3 hits in 7 innings on the 21st, gave up 3 hits in 6 innings tonight, and over 18 FSL innings, has given up 2 runs (1 earned), for a 0.50 era. Nick Waechter opposed him tonight and was not good at all, giving up 7 hits and 6 runs (4 earned) in 3 innings for his first FSL loss. Emary Frederick, bouncing back off a very rough outing his last time out (0.1 ip, 2 h, 3 er, 2/3 bb/k), picked up the win with 1.2 innings of scoreless relief. German Marte picked up his 10th save. Ruben Tejada and Maldonado had the lone hits, everyone else took 0-fers.

The debut of Wilmer Flores went very well, the 17 year old phenom went 2 for 5 with a run scored as Savannah lost 9-3. Carlos Guzman and Ralph Henriquez also had multi hit games, while Tony Mccani was the only Gnat to take an 0-fer (0 for 4, run, 2 Ks, .228).
Rhiner Cruz got bombed in relief for 4 runs on 3 hits (2 homers) and 2 walks in just 1 inning to take his 2nd loss. Stephen Puhl and Manuel Olivares gave up 5 runs in the next 3 innings to completely take Savannah out of the game.
