Fernando Martinez made his return, DHing and going 1 for 4 with a 2b, before being PH for in the 9th (that's not a good sign, huh?) Ambi Concepcion took the only 0-fer (0 for 4, 2 Ks, .249), while 3 players had multi hit games (Stewart, Petersen, Machado).

Edgar Ramirez came in and made sure the Mets wouldn't rally, serving up 4 runs on 5 hits in his 3 innings.

The offense had 10 hits and 2 walks, but was handcuffed by 2 DPs and 7 LOB. Brahiam Maldonado had the only multi hit game, as he tries to put on a late surge to respectability (.246 and climbing). Josh Thole (0 for 3, .302), and DJ Wabick (0 for 4, K, .280) had 0-fers.
