I can't wait for all these relievers we've drafted the past 2 years to come up. Lets see...
Eddie Kunz - dominating in Binghamton
Brant Rustich - starting in Savannah?
Eric Niesen - starting in St. Lucie? 6-10 with a close to 5 era?
Stephen Clyne - so bad in St. Lucie he went to Brooklyn?
Dan McDonald - any sightings?
William Morgan - ditto Mr. McDonald
Oh yeah - it turns out I was right after all, the past three drafts Omar's run have SUCKED massively (All we've gotten is Kevin Mulvey and Joe Smith so far - the 2005 draft was good). Good job out of everyone who was trying to talk me down after the 2007 and 2008 drafts. Two thumbs way up to you guys.

This was such a stupid post.
ReplyDeleteThe 2007 draft's pitching is going to be one for the record books.
ReplyDeleteKunz all-ready up!
The rest are either changing rolls which ads time or were upper round picks which will have to perform at a high level of consistancy over a period of time before they get their respect.
Book-it!
Hey, I like Vineyard and Moviel. Duda's intriguing. Kunz and Rustich are decent.
ReplyDeleteAfter that? Whole bunch of garbage.
I agree anon #1, this was a retarded post by Tejesh. I do NOT approve this message that he posted.
ReplyDelete#2, agreed, it's WAY to early to write off the 2007 draft...
And seriously, anyone who thinks theyve been proven right about the 2007 and 2008 drafts after such a short time, is a moron. This was a stupid post by Tej...
YEAH! Tejesh is dumb!
ReplyDeleteagree with the first 2 posts...its to early to declare a draft a bust. kunz is already up (and pitched well-only 1 inning tho so we'll c if the command issues pop-up). rustich and niesen are starting so we'll c how they'll progress. also im pretty sure rustich n niesen would b higher in the system if they pitched as relievers. stephen clyne-well we'll c with him (good piece on him on the metsminorleagueblog), jury's still out. n yes, still have high hopes though on vineyard n moviel (not extremely high tho) but think they can become decent pitchers in time-although this thread was about the relievers. also, come on-what do you honestly expect out of the '08 draft?
