Thanks to Coach John Cohen: Great kid-one of the toughest kids I've ever coached both physically and mentally. Big time arm strength. Closed for our team as well as playing catcher on a consistent basis. Tyler is a team guy and is a big time winner. Hope that helps

Round 43, Pick 1304: Mark McGonigle
---------------------
RF University of New Orleans, 8/6/85, R/R

Thanks to Coach Walter: Mark is a physical kid with good raw tools. He is a 6.9 runner with a plus arm and good power. He picked up switch-hitting late in his career and ended up putting the left-handed swing on the shelf for his junior and senior years at the University of New Orleans. Since getting into pro-ball he has started switch-hitting again and how successful he is left-handed may very well determin how far and how fast he moves up the ladder.

2005 (U of Houston): 22 for 122, 15 runs, 8 2b, 12 RBI, 5/11 SBs, 19/32 BB/K, .180/.296/.246/.542

Thanks to Coach Robert Shabansky: Tyler is 6'6" 200lb, set school records for avg., hits, x-base hits. He was first team all conference and region. He is a 6.7 runner, with plus arm and power. Probably would have had 10 or more home runs if we didn't play at such a big field (365 right and left field lines and 420 to center). We play in a wood bat conference as well. He played right field for us primarily but also played 16 games at shortstop for me. Please let me know if you need anything else regarding Tyler.
