Thanks to Coach Walter: Mark is a physical kid with good raw tools. He is a 6.9 runner with a plus arm and good power. He picked up switch-hitting late in his career and ended up putting the left-handed swing on the shelf for his junior and senior years at the University of New Orleans. Since getting into pro-ball he has started switch-hitting again and how successful he is left-handed may very well determin how far and how fast he moves up the ladder.

Probably would have had 10 or more home runs if we didn't play at such a big field (365 right and left field lines and 420 to center). We play in a wood bat conference as well.
