It was a low scoring affair tonight between the Cyclones and Scrappers, with Brooklyn using a 2 run 8th to pull out the victory. Alex Gregory doubled in Ralph Henriquez to tie the game, then scored on the play due to an error by the Scrappers catcher for the eventual game winner. Henriquez, and Matt Gaski both had 2 hit games, while Dock Doyle (0 for 3, 2 BBs, .250), Sam Honeck (0 for 4, K, .277), and Robbie Shields (0 for 4, 2 Ks, .147) took 0-fers. The Cyclones tallied 8 hits and 3 walks in the game, while going 2 for 8 with RISP, leaving 9 on base. Brandon Sage picked up the win with 2.2 scoreless innings, Michael Powers notched his 11th save.

Yohan Almonte had his best Appy League outing of the season, giving up a run on 3 hits over 6 innings for his 2nd Appy win, as the Mets routed Johnson City, 7-1. Almonte struck out 6 and walked 2, lowering his Appy ERA beneath 6, at 5.88.
The Mets offense exploded for 14 hits, while going 4 for 11 (.364) with RISP, and leaving 6 on base. Alonzo Harris, RJ Harris, Cesar Puello, Pedro Zapata and Luis Nieves all had multi hit games, and every regular recorded at least one hit in the contest.
