The Mets offense had 8 hits and 3 walks, while going 2 for 6 with RISP and leaving 4 on base. Jose Coronado and Shawn Bowman hit HRs, while Ruben Tejada (2)had the only multi hit game, and Caleb Stewart (0 for 3, run, BB, 2 Ks, .224) and Rafael Arroyo (0 for 3, K, .000) took 0-fers.

APPY R: Kingsport 9/12/1, Elizabethon 10/15/2

Haven't had one of these games in a while. The KMets bullpen imploded in the 7th inning, with Tim Chism and Sam Taveras combining to give up 6 runs in the inning, turning a 7-4 lead into a 10-7 deficit. Single runs in the 8th and 9th brought Kingsport within 1, but they fell short in their comeback attempt. Angel Cuan started and was not good, giving up 4 runs on 7 hits in 5 innings, but he was in line for the win before the 7th inning implosion.

The Mets had 12 hits and a pair of walks, while going 2 for 7 (.286) with RISP and leaving 3 on base. Alonzo Harris (2), Cesar Puello (2), Juan Torres (2) and Luis Nieves (2) had multi hit games, while Joe Bonfe (0 for 3, run, BB, K, .319) took the only 0-fer.
