Ivan Maldonado is having an insane start to his season. In 4 outings totalling 4.1 innings, he's allowed 10 hits and 5 walks (a staggering 3.46 WHIP), and 11 runs, 10 earned, a grotesque 20.77 era. And he turns 28 this June. Not good. At all. He came into a 6-3 game, and allowed a run, and left with 2 on. Nate Field allowed both of those runs to score, and then one of his own, taking the loss. He struggled with his command at times, and was lifted after just 4.2 innings. The high powered Binghamton lineup was 1 hit thru 5, but exploded for a 4 spot in the 6th, and 2 in the 9th, rolling to their 3rd straight victory. Fernando Martinez paced the 11 hit attack with 3 hits, and Mike Carp had 2. Emmanuel Garcia continued to struggle mightily, taking an 0-fer, dropping his average to a frigid .150.
