Angel Calero was in the unique position of allowing 5 runs in 3.2 innings, but none of them were earned, so he lowered his ERA while taking his 4th loss. Joaquin Rodriguez and Michael Parker made their Savannah debuts, bolstered what was a weak lineup. 3 players took 0-fers, Greg Veloz (0 for 4, run, RBI, BB, .204, CS (3)), Jordan Abruzzo (0 for 5, .375) and Jose Jimenez (0 for 3, run, 2 BBs, K, .193), while 3 had multi hit games.

  1. This isn't a comment on this post, but just to tell you that John Sickels has a prospect report on Mike Carp today on minorleagueball.com. He doesn't seem as high on him as I've seen you are, but I haven't seen anyone who is as of yet. Just an interesting read, you may wanna link to it.
