It's a little late, so I'm going to be brief. New Orleans put up 5 in the 7th and 8th, rolling to a 5-1 victory. Brian Stokes had yet another outstanding outing, going 7 and allowing a run on 5 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 5. Willie Collazo threw up another 0, and Carlos Muniz pitched a scoreless 9th. Argenis Reyes, Chris Aguila and Jesus Feliciano took 0-fers.

The Trinity was silenced for a rare night, as both Dan Murphy and Nick Evans took 0-fers, but Mike Carp continued his torrid hitting with 2 hits including his 5th homer of the young season. Fernando Martinez, Jose Coronado and Joshua Petersen also had 2 hits (everyone else took 0-fers), but it wasn't enough to overcome 5 runs given up by Met pitching. Eric Brown went 6 and allowed 3 runs, but Eddie Camacho allowed a run in his 2 innings, and Joe Hietpas allowed the game winner in the 9th.

However, the loss went to Matias Carrillo, who allowed 4 runs in his 2 innings of relief. Lucas Duda had 4 singles which plated 4 runs, running his average up to a lofty .364. Josh Stinson excelled in long relief backing up an uneffective Elvin Ramirez, going 4.1 innings of 6 hit shutout ball, and earning his first win of the season. Ramirez went 4.2 innings, allowing 7 hits and 4 earned, while striking out 2. Offensively, Greg Veloz, Darren Clark and Dan Stegall had multi-hit games, while Matt Bouchard, Jose Jimenez and Francisco Pena took 0-fers.
