He's in line for the victory, but Ivan Maldonado has allowed the first 2 he's faced to reach via hits, that's where we are right now. 5-3 Zs, bottom 8, 2 on no out.

Tobi Stoner made his AA debut, and it was a decent one, he allowed a run on 3 hits in 5 innings, but he did walk 4. Eric Brown pitched in relief for the first time all season, he went 4 innings, allowing 4 hits and a run, picking up his 4th win of the season. Tim LaVigne notched his 5th save.
Eric Reed and Caleb Stewart had multi hit games, while Nick Evans took the only 0-fer. Stewart, Emmanuel Garcia and Rafael Arroyo had the RBI.

The Gnats trailed 3-1 after 5, but then awoke offensively with a 4 spot in the 6th. They rode that inning to the victory, Scott Moviel's 6th of the season. Moviel was good, not great today, surrending 7 hits and 3 runs (2 earned) over 5 innings. Josh Stinson worked 3 good innings in middle relief, and Steven Cheney got his 2nd save of the season.
