I'm surprised Holt made it that high... I know very little about him, but it seems most people don't think that highly of him.
ReplyDeleteHe was considered by many draft ranking publishers to be a top 50 potential draftee, and ony a couple even top 35. He throws 96, and sits at 93-95 throughout the entire game. His off speed stuff needs work, but you can't LEARN a 96 mph fastball. If he can make his breaking pitch and changeup into average MLB pitches, he can be a #3-4 at the major league level. If not, he can be a good set up man at least.
ReplyDeletewhere are Wilmer Flores and Cesar Puello playing?
ReplyDeleteFlores Kingsport @ age 16. Peullo we dunno, Jefry Marte, either. I'd suspect they'll either be in the GCL or Kingsport.
