New Orleans 10, Omaha 4
Chris Aguila had another HUGE day, going 5 for 5 with 2 doubles, a homer and 5 RBI, leading the Zs to an easy 10-4 victory. Aguila led the 16 hit barrage, every regular contributed at least 1 hit.
Willie Collazo was the beneficiary of the outburst, he collected his 4th win of the season, going 6 innings, and allowing 7 hits and 3 runs. Tim McNab, Nate Field and Juan Padilla followed with scoreless innings.

And we have a new record for longest game of the season. Dillon Gee started this one and went 6.1 innings, giving up 8 hits and 2 runs, but he was long gone when it was decided. German Marte (recently demoted) pitched 2 scoreless innings (14, 15) to pick up his first win.
The offense was pretty bad, managing just 11 hits, and striking out 18 times in 15 innings, but it doesn't matter when you win. JR Voyles was the only unfortunate 0-fer, he went 0 for 6, dropping his average 13 points to .231. Josh Thole also took an 0-fer, but his was a less...damaging 0 for 4 (average dropped 7 points to .258), he walked twice and drove in a run with a sac fly.

Elvin Ramirez only lasted 4+ innings today, surrendering 8 hits and 2 runs (1 earned), enough to get his 5th loss, despite lowering his ERA to 3.09. Edgar Ramirez and Nick Abel followed with 5 hitless innings to keep it at 2-1, but the offense was stifled for 8 hits and just that 1 unearned run.
Jordan Abruzzo (0 for 4, .308), Jose Jimenez (0 for 3, BB, .238), Michael Parker (0 for 4, .204), and Jacob Elgsti (0 for 4, K, .235) all took 0-fers, while Casey Craig, Richard Pena and Joaquin Rodriguez had multi-hit games.
